One of my favorite things about summer is the availability of fresh and local produce. Peaches are abundant this time of year, and one of my favorite desserts to make with Peaches is Peach Cobbler.
Below is my easy and delicious Peach Cobbler recipe that you can make where you have fresh peaches available.
Peach Cobbler
3 Cups of Fresh and ripe Peaches, skins intact.
1 Cup of granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup melted butter
1 Cup of All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
Preheat your oven to 350º and lightly grease a baking dish of your choice.
Remove the pits and slice your peaches, layering them evenly in your baking dish.
In a medium sized bowl, and preferably with an electric mixer, beat together the butter and sugar. Add the flour, baking powder, egg, and vanilla until just combined.
Spread batter as evenly as possible over the peaches.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with Vanilla ice cream, cool whip, or whipped cream.
